My hands are up, please don’t shoot

I had been on my dash and saw someone do something with Sam Wilson as Captain America doing “don’t shoot” for their support to the Ferguson/Mike Brown protests happening and I myself wanted to do something with my own favorite superhero Miles morales to offer support in one of the few ways I can. Might not be the first to do it but that is probably not a bad thing

Two ways of dealing with tear gas grenades from comrades in Turkey: Either submerge them in water. Make sure you can close off the container cause the gas will still spread for a while. Or throw them in the fire so the gas burns off before it can spread.

In The Not So Distant Future, Glow-In-The-Dark Trees Could Replace Street Lights

Is that… is that even healthy?

There are sea organisms and fungi which glow in the dark and there’s fireflies and jellyfish which glow in the dark. It doesn’t do them any harm nor does it do the people around them any harm. I would say its pretty healthy, as well as it would mean more photosynthesis happening in cities which mean cleaner air.

I was just curious about how they were doing it and for some reason I didn’t think to click the link. But thanks! It makes more sense now. I was afraid it was some kind of chemical thing.

nah just genetic modification using existing bioluminescent genes. Genetics is really cool, and so is bioluminescence. I mean they’ve already made pigs glow using jellyfish genes and pigs are waaay more complicated than trees iirc. So they’re actually (i think) less likely to muck it up with trees.

In which case

GLOWY

FORESTS

GLOWY

TREES

GLOWY

EVERYTHING

(I like glowy things)

You can already buy packets of seeds for little bio-luminescent plants. They’re like $40 a pack so I haven’t been able to afford them yet, but this is happening right now.

We’re moving towards Underdark aesthetic and I love it

DO YOU UNDERSTAND ALL MY IMAGINARY PLACES AND THE LIKE ARE FULL OF GLOWING TREES. GLOWING TREES ARE PART OF MY DREAMS AND I LOVE THEM. PLEASE DO THIS.

yo but this says so much about rape when a woman would literally rather be around a murderer than a rapist

Juno (2007)

this picture makes the movie seem all cool and tumblr-y and “aesthetic vibes” but in the actual movie the person she’s talking to is a pregnant teenage girl speaking into a plastic hamburger

that movie had wonderful cinematography alongside a great story. so yeah it is all cool and has “aesthetic vibes” that compliment the plot and characters

I don’t understand why a hipster fashion blog followed me. .____.;

There are several of my followers I don’t understand, but that one confuses me the most.
